The Spanish Bible contained in the Escorial I.i.6 codex (ca. 1250) has been published by CILENGUA.

The Escorial Bible I.i.6, known as E6, is probably the most important text for the study of the Castilian vernacular of the mid-thirteenth century. The manuscript includes a Castilian translation from Latin of the Old Testament (from Proverbs to 2-Maccabees) and the New Testament in its entirety.

This is an electronic edition on a CD accompanied by a volume of preliminary studies where several specialists make a critical review of the most important aspects of the manuscript. The edition coordinated by Andres Enrique-Arias is available at the online store of CILENGUA.
